Over the years Poland has had many schools claiming to have a new '8 out of 10 students prefer' method. We've had Berlitz, employer of parrots, Callan, now that's intense and now Avalon. Avalon claims to have discovered 'Avalon Direct English, (A.D.E.) based on the long defunct 'Audio Lingual Method', which in turn evolved from Behavioural theories about learning. Cue-response-reward. I can't believe they are trying to sell this as some kind of revelation in teaching. ALM has been abandoned by modern ELT.
