I think that you should stay really positive and ignore a lot of that "white face " talk.
You need to come here and experience and allow your destiny to take over.
Vietnam has been shunned upon by many for a number of different reasons.
It's the foreigner who decides to take that leap to come here and become a stitch in the task of mending Vietnam that we all need to take our hats off to.
You'll find that once you arrive here with your positive attitude, things will fall into place.
You'll always come across disgruntled complainers, but they're everywhere in the world.
I teach teenagers. From my experiences, the young Vietnamese are very influenced by Korean culture. Whether it be music, dance, clothing or food, they're are really tapped into it.
So don't be discouraged. You'll be a hit here. I remind my students that they are the future of this country. You come across as a sincere, concerned person. Your presence here will add to it's future also. |

I 've been working with a coworker of mine , she is an Aussie and she is absolutely nuts about VN! She 's been saving money for the past 7 years
teaching English here in Korea, and she's planning on teaching in VN and buying a land there and settle down somewhere on the beach!!! She's got a Swedish friend who owns a hotel and living like a king!! So, all those who are worried and concerned , dont be! VN is the next Korea, or maybe Japan....in next 10 years, that country will be the jewel of Asia.....
I myself, wish I could go there....My dad is a pilot, he worked there for 2 years, he's going back to work there again!! Cuz they pay very good money, and ur living costs are LOW!! that leaves you with lots of cash, guys....it's as simple as that.....but if you are picky about everything in your own country, then I dont think you can really be satisfied anywhere else...... |
