Hi everyone,
My name is Neal and I live in D.F. Colonia San Jose Insurgentes. I am teaching English here, but I have a few problems. Okay, I know I must sound like a lazy bum, but with the job I have now, I am working till 9:30 p.m. and I work as well at 7:00 a.m. I also work at 7am on Saturday. This is not why I came to Mexico. I have worked hard in the US and I intend to work hard here as well, but not like this. Also, my classes are an hour and a half, which I think is to long for any class of any subject, for student and teacher.
Before D.F. I was living and teaching in Periban, Michoacan for Culturlingua (Yes, the school that I am sure many of you have read or posted about.) I was working 6 hours a day and not working weekends. It was perfect. I was teaching kids mostly and loved it.
I think what I am trying to do here is find a school where I can teach to younger people. If anyone knows about any schools in D.F. for students 5 through 25 years of age, would you please let me know, or if you have any other suggestions for me, even just to reinforce the fact that I am a lazy bum. Thanks guys and girls. Also, I have enjoyed reading all of your helpful posts on many subjects and they have helped me more than you know. |
