Hello all
I do not wish to be paranoid, but as I had one lung removed in 1989 I have always had the Flu injection every year since. Where I am living now (3 hours Northwest of Shanghai) it is VERY POLLUTED with lots of Chemical factories around the School. There is one fertiliser factory across the road from the School and on most days there is a constant white mist in the air (very thick like fog) and the smell of sulphur.
I am concerned about not being able to have the Flu injection this year. I normally have it around March. When I do get sit, I tend to take twice as long as anyone else to get over it which would be a bit of a problem here.
One year I was in bed for 10 days straight! I have been in Hospital 3 times with Pneumonia (before I had the lung out admittedly).
I would just like to know if anyone has had it while they were here and how I should go about it.
Thanks |

No I haven't.
If I die, I die.
Seriously, I did have Hep A and B shots before I came here, but there are so many lovely things that could kill me in China (bird flu, SARS, water shortages, etc) that I just can't be bothered worrying. I put my trust in The Most Great DoS.
