Hello, I am considering a TEFL course in BA in January with EBC International. I was wondering about typical pay for teaching English in Argentina. What can I expect to be earning and are the wages considered decent? Ideally I would like to pay rent/bills, enjoy myself a tad, and have some money left at the end of the month for savings or short travels on holidays.
Also, I have not really figured out the work visa situation. If I get there, take the course, and then stay and begin looking for work, how do I go about making that "legal" by rights of a visa?
Oh ya, I'm an American citizen, and in addition to the TEFL certificate I would be getting I have a BA in English from University of Texas, Secondary teaching certification, and have 5 years experience teaching high school English.
