I'm a Trinity TESL trainer (training English teachers, as opposed to teaching ESL to English students) working in Canada. I'm coming to Istanbul in a few months, and want to work as a TEFL instructor. I have a couple questions:

I'm wondering what the job market is like for TEFL training positions in Turkey. For qualified experienced people, are they as easy to come by as ESL positions? Can I afford to be picky and turn down TESL job offers as I can with ESL positions?

What's the pay scale like, say, relative to ESL?
