Don't go for less than 6,000 yen/hour.
I've heard that advertising your private lessons is commonplace on the front doors/windows of NOVA schools. |

You won't get many lessons that pay 6,000.
I have 2 that are 5,000 an hour and advertise on
findstudents.net, where my price listed is 3,000. I had listed at 4,000 and not a person contacted me....this is in Tokyo.
You can make pretty good money. The higher paying lessons I took from someone who was leaving after answering her ad in Metropolis.
I'm going to put up a poster at the community center and on a board near the park and see what happens. |
