Hello,

Can anyone tell me the costings for the following services:

Internet usage (hourly), and the speed, in Taichung City?

Local telephone-call cost in Taichung and also, to Thailand?

The cost of buying a cycle versus hiring a motorcyle, et al?

Yes. I have not looked at all 57 pages, but if anyone knows
the answers, would mightly appreciate your input for today.

Thank you kindly,

t-asia

The cost of telephoning Thailand from Taiwan,

is for those whom may know, or are likely to

know the answer outright, or by chance. Thanx.

Kind regards,

Internet at an internet cafe is about 30NT and hour. Most apartment buildings have internet provided. I have not lived anywhere in which internet was provided but i live in Taipei.

That works out to be 33 baht in Thai money.

And one hour Internet in Thailand is 30-baht.

Not excessive.

Thanking you JZer.

You can pay as much as 80NT in some areas of Taipei. I might have paid 20NT an hour last week in the country side. Last week I was in Huwei. I am not sure if I paid 20 or 30NT an hour.

I have read that Taichung is the third largest city on the island. However, a teacher's salary is not adjusted, given land size is small and compromised by meaning.

However, if the Internet hourly charge is cheap in Taichung, I am, logically, leaning to travel and teach in Taiwan, not Taipei.

For financial reasons, and why not, hope to be overworked by the working week, but not more than five-days. Re-imbursment for time and effort.

Taichung city must have its problems with traffic pollution, however, far less than Taipei? Hope Taichung city is not too far out in the country?

Thank you,

t-asia
