Does anyone have any information regarding STB-ACS in Jakarta? If so, please pass it along. Thanks. |

I've never worked for STB but I've been there for meetings and had a look around.
It's an expensive 'national plus' school in a smart new campus south of the city. Facilities and equipment are very good. Don't know what their salaries are like but I'd expect well above average. It's the sort of place where chaps are expected to wear a tie to work. |

Malu, even in EF, chaps are expected to wear a tie. Seems pretty standard at all schools in Indonesia. |

I don't think I've seen a tie at my (nat plus) school. I can think of a few other schools where this is the case, too. |

Not knowing anything about the area, what would an "average" salary for working in that kind of school be these days if recruited from abroad?
Thanks for any info you can pass along. |

Tiara Bangsa is one of the best schools in the area.
This is more of an international school due the proportion of expat children. It is officially nat+ because it has the national exams.
FYI - no ties - teachers are trusted to be casual and smart.

I always wondered what the prime criterion for rating a school was. |
