Funny thing these translations. Ind Coope was the name of our local brewery. I guess most of you would be gung ho for that.

In 1997 I used two: My present one and Hetty Green, then in 2003 or whenever, Dave required sign in,so Hetty had to go.

William Wallace - Me mother's people come from either Uist or Benbecula (Campbell),and Da comes from Dublin,so Celts on both sides. Wallace beat the English's arse....prior to immigration doing it. Wink

Hetty Green- Witch of Wall Street, so miserly that she seldom used electricity, allowed an infection to take her son's leg,and when she died in 1916 she was worth about 150 million USD

It's a reference to Bruce Chatwin and his book What are you doing here where he talks about the therapeutic value of walking. Oh, that and I was drunk at the time...

Polish for pigeon (phonetically). I hate pigeons, and there are lots of them in Poland.

One of my brothers used to call me jilliford, which is a combination of my first name (jill) and a former last name (williford). I had an ex-boyfriend who picked up on that, but shortened it to jillford. This same boyfriend, when I was headed to Ecuador for 6 weeks in 1999 to study Spanish, decided that I needed a yahoo email account so we could keep in touch better. I was still packing about 5 minutes before I needed to go to the airport so I told him to sign me up. He came back with jillford64 and a peculiar password based on the color of one of my cats and the street address of the house. I asked about the 64 and he said it was the year I was born, which is not correct. Over the years I've tried come up with other names and passwords, but I can never think of anything clever and I can't remember anything else, so I still use this most of the time.

i remember signing up and thinking about my name. 'james' has nothing to do with my real name and my last name does not begin with an 's'.

truly no rhyme or reason to my name-it is merely random.

First initial of first name, followed by last name - simple, effective and transparent.
