i've always enjoyed browsing through it. it's an extremely valuable thread that is very useful for L.American students. it seems many L.American ESL students suffer from very strong accents 3-4 years into their ESL careers. (some further)
so, i'm always looking for pronunciation exercises that can kill time in a Friday 6PM class. this thread is a treasure chest of sites. |

Classes at 6PM on Friday? That's against my religion!
But seriously, I've used those suggestions a lot, as I have had many unstructured classes. http://www.english-to-go.com is good as well, although it has a subscription, there is a page of free sample lessons. These complete lesson plans are of the highest quality, and great for busy/lazy teachers.
If anyone else knows of a site with FREE complete lesson plans, please tell me. |
