|
|
I'm packing up my clothing and I'm wondering if I should even bother bringing wool dress jackets and pants to Dubai. Does it ever get cool enough to wear them? I've stocked up on cotton and mixed blend (cotton and wool) jackets and pants, but don't know if I should bring the 100% wool stuff that I wore in the cold of the US Northeast. Thanks for any advice... |

Personally, I wouldn't bother. While wool suits can be worn comfortably here in December/January/February - they would be "tropical wool" suits. Woven in a weight that is suitable for this part of the world. Suits purchased for the northeast would probably be a little heavy for the few weeks you would consider wearing them.
However, if your work would entail travel to cooler parts (Turkey, Iran, etc.) they would be suitable (and in parts of Iran and Turkey you'd probably want your winter coat too!)
Hope that helps |

No wool suits unless you plan to go on vacation to a cold place in winter. |
