she's looking kind of tired
she's feeling kind of knackered
she's behaving kind of strangely
she's working kind of fast
she's wearing these kind of weird glasses
she's kind of making eyes at him
she's kind of like in love, like
she's been kind of meaning to tell him
It's more common than you might think!
Do you ever teach it?
Kind of?? |

Yes. I teach it and use it--and the reduced form as well. I'm all for exposing students to real language.

Yes. I taught it yesterday, and "a little bit" as well. As D says, it is real language. |

You can teach the 'kind of' phrase even at kindergarten level! |
