Do I have to bring my diploma with me to Japan or is an inter-net copy good enough? My diploma is in bad condition and I'd rather not travel with it, thanx.

You might get by with a scanned copy. How about laminating the one you have? If you don't have any copy at all to provide immigration when you apply for a work visa, you may have to provide a certified letter from your university plus transcripts.
