I am traveling around asia right now and i want to go to Taiwan to look for work soon. Probably in May. Now May is probably not peek hiring season. Is that going to make finding a job hard? Is there a peek hiring season I should try to be around for? Thanks.

Peak hiring season is July/August, and since you're not going on a work permit and won't be taxed, this would be a good time to come. If you were going to be taxed, that would be different. It's also the hottest, most polluted-seeming time of year, but if you're travelling around hot countries now, that shouldn't be a problem. If you're a cheeky confident fast-talking bugger, you can probably find a job any time of year, so May might be okay - I'm not sure.
