TokyoLiz,
I agree with you 100%. One who elects to teach must never cease to learn. When my classes bog down I sometimes switch to French. I will conduct the first two minutes of the lesson in French and even the most lethargic students have snapped to and are trying to figure out what is going on. Then I will teach them a simple dialog in French that they can master in a couple of minutes. Keep it fresh and remember: positivism is contagious.
