I'm in N. America.

Does anyone know how to contact Saudi Airlines and have someone pick up the phone? No number I've tried works in N. America on the weekends. I've called both JFK and IAD where Saudia flies out from but the phone either disconnects or I'm told to call back on Monday.

I've tried the 9200-22222 reservations number but that doesn't work from calling into KSA from NA either.

Any suggestions? My flight leaves tomorrow morning (Sept. 7th) and the visa has not come.

That's a US number... at least that is how my Skype picks it up. If I google it, it's a NYC number.

Thanks for the laugh! Funny how I can recognize US/Canadian numbers when I see them, but you can't even though you are from there and are there currently.

How is 966 debatable? I'm glad I made ya laught.

....I found out that the SA agents will be at their desks a few hours before each bi-weekly depature from the Washington airport...I hope I can get through..

.....but no plan B. I wish there was a number to call in KSA. I can't get through.

I called about one hr or less after you posted that humber trap. No luck. The phone rang maybe 40 times and then cut out with a busy signal.

The Saudia website has lots of phone numbers and I called lots...but not a chance to get someone on the other end of any number.

I'm also calling now...

So what time is your flight? From where to where? And what do you want to tell them?

Email me answers to all those questions and any other relevant information (flight details, time zone, etc) to my username at gmail dot com and I will try to call and relay the info.

Get on it pronto!

P.S.

Welcome to customer service in the KSA! Get used to it, because that's what you will be getting (nothing) when you call banks, hospitals, phone companies, internet companies, shops, whatever! My health has been damaged more because of frustration due to what I just said than due to anything else in my life. Here is an example, albeit, an extreme one: Just a couple of months back, I applied for a visa to the UK from Saudi. I was asked to call and find out if my passport had been returned or not from Riyadh (I applied from Jeddah). I was provided with 3 phone numbers, and I got 4 more from their website. That's a total of 7 phone numbers I dialled during the designated times at least 150 times over a period of 3 days, during morning, afternoon, and evening. But no one ever picked up. For those who don't know, visa processing used to be done at the Consulate in Jeddah, but has been handed over to a private company for a year or so now. And yes, you guessed it, it is manned mostly by locals, a people/race known for the worst customer service in the world.

Ah, but it's great for raising your patience level. By the time you leave the Kingdom, you'll make Job seem fretful and unforbearing in comparison.

Regards,
John

P.S. Well, maybe in your case trapezius, that might not be the case, if one can judge by your avatar.

It's too late now, otherwise that would have worked. Thx Trap.

I am/was babysitting my niece and we were playing Trouble..so I went off line. (Yes, the game with the popping dice)

I'll go with plan A...call Saudia at the Dulles airport tomorrow. My flight is tomorrow at 6pm from Wash, DC to Jeddah. Hopefully, I'll get in touch with the agents...or I'll be emailing you Trap.. Smile

Used the number for Jeddah from above.

The next available flight out of Dulles was Sept 28th. I'm on it.

I'm told KSA is on holidays from Sept 23th to Oct 5th....or at least the university? Looks like I'm arriving a little late for the start of the semester.....oh well. I can't swim across and then take a camel....or can I?

Regards,
mts
