Hi
Has anyone live or spent time in both areas.
I am trying to find somwhere to base in Europe and would love some advise on these two areas. Are they both comparable price wise, for rents and general expenses. I know it would depend where you where exactly but, if we are just comparing in general, which would be the least expensive.
Also things like most friendly and more accepting of foreigners etc.

Thanks everyone for your time.
xx

Paris is very expensive, Italy is expensive in some large cities (Milan, Rome), but cheaper elsewhere.
