Language Mills get a pretty bad rap in the cyber world as well as on the streets, but to be honest I miss working for a langauge mill. I loved the flexibilty I had and the cool coworkers, who were....yes thats right, people without qualifications. Shock Horror!
I also miss the students who for them coming to English class was the highlight of the week. I miss not paying taxes and my dodgy boss who was always keen to have a beer and a game of Bi Da after slipping the 'men in green' a fat envelope to be accepted as a legitimate business.
Sure, language mills are money making schemes, but where isn't. I miss the chaos. |

As long as they pay you on time and treat you fairly that is all that matters.
Maybe you miss it because there is less pressure. If you work in an environment where everyone has some serious quals/experience then you constantly have to measure up to them to remain competitive - I know, it gets tiresome. |
