|
|
Hi
Has anyone brought in a cat recently? I would like to connect with someone who can walk me through the process - I have bits and peices of information but not a clear picture of what is required from the documents to clearing customs.
I leave for Jeddah next month so any help or info please!
Thanks |

Do not import any more cats. We have hundreds of feral cats on campus, desperate for human company and food. Do us a favour and take some of ours ! |

Cats who are ''desperate for human company''. That's a first for me, Scotty. I used to feed cats on my compound in Riyadh but I doubt it was my company they wanted. Cats are mercenary little *beep*. Get a dog, Scotty. Man's best friend. |

Suprisingly for some, Saudi Arabian Airlines is a very pet friendly airline.
Check the requirements on their website. A friend of mine was able to have both of his cats in the passenger compartment due to poor ventilation in the cargo storage area.
Usually a health certificate is required indicating that all vaccinations are up-to-date in addition to micro-chipping.
You might also want to Google some of the Pet Relocation sites on the web and search by country for specific requirements. |

The Golfing Sheikh has spent too long in the company of "Hispanyoles". He is unable to recognise IRONY. The Sun would call it "Taking The P#SS"
I would no more think of feeding a cat than I would of going for a walk with a collection of curved sticks and a handful of small white balls. I may be eccentric but I am not insane - yet. |

Scotty, the game played with ''curved sticks'' is called HOCKEY. We golfers use ''clubs'' and they're straight! I'm surprised to hear that you are a Sun reader. I had you down as a ''Guardian'' man.
BTW, why don't you try the ''gowf''. It's catching on among the Gulf citizens and KSA has a very promising young player called Othman. I'm sure you'd look great on the links in plus-fours and tartan bunnet.
Regards
