Is there anyone out there presently living in Yemen or knows the country? I am thinking of moving to San'a next year and would appreciate information on cost of living etc. Would $1500 be a livable wage? There are posts on Yemen but they go back to 2003.

Yes, there are posts going back to 2003, but there are also a number of threads that come up from a search that are dated 2008.
