I'm planning on doing about a 6 week vacation in Phuket during the winter break. Ideally I'd like to do it on the cheap. How cheaply could I pull it off? How much might I budget for entertainment? What are the cheapest accomodations I could get?

I remember Tedkarma mentioning work opportunities if you know where to look so I'll be bringing a suit and a stack of resumes as well.

What's the weather going to be like that time of year?
