I noticed in a post of Guys elsewhere in Dave's he said that internet cafes cost 1 to 4 dollars an hour in Mexico!?!?!?!
My jaw dropped. Am I in a black hole? Guy, was that a mistake? OR is Acapulco outragously expensive. In little ol Huajuapan de Leon, Oaxaca, it costs between 6 and 10 pesos an hour. (US $0.50-$0.99) And there is an internet cafe on every street in the center of town.
So how about a roll call everyone.? How much does it cost to use the internet in your part of Mexico????
Huajuapan de Leon, Oaxaca 6 to 10 pesos and hour.
(And if you just want to quickly check your email, they will charge by the 1/4 of hour) |

My recent experience:
Playa Del Carmen 10 pesos per hour (fast, reliable, and you could do your laundry at the same time!)
Palenque 10 pesos per hour (also good)
San Cristobal de las Casas only 8 pesos per hour (and fast)
here in Mazunte 16 pesos per hour (and slow)!...but, hey, the fact that there is even a cafe here surprises me!
Thats all I can remember right now. Hope this helps. |

The average here is about 10 pesos per hour throughout most of the city. More expensive (sometimes up to 20 pesos per hour) in the downtown touristy part of the city. |
