Following your logic, why cover it up? If 9-11 was done in order to erode civil liberties or justify the war on terror/Iraq as conspiracy theorists say, shouldn't the Mexican government by calling this a bombing in order to do the same?

I'm not saying it wasn't a conspiracy, but I highly doubt that it was a bomb. Plane wrecks involving bombs usually have the wreckage spread over many kilometres. If it was a bomb, it was a really little one, designed to break something else and make it look like a structural fault.

I think a change in government personnel was behind this one - and if you don't want to go quietly... but keep an eye on any policies/laws introduced and decisions by the replacement (the right man for the agenda) made off the back of this.
