I worked for about 5 years in Asia and literally walked back into a job on the Gold Coast.
I sent my resume to every school on the coast and had quite a few 'auditions', was promptly put on the casual list, before been given a class of my own.
There are plenty of jobs and schools on the Coast and plenty of teachers needed. There are plenty of local teachers who haven't taught overseas, so you might have advantages over them, although often Aussie experiance is preferred.
Pay is crap though!! |
