Hello all and nice to meet ye. Hope ye are are doing well. I am a little confused as to visas etc for Oman. I have a job offer but my husband having a passport not on the exclusive A list does not, our child holds dual nationalities. I am going to Oman without them which hurts..I was wondering what exactly is the correct story as to bringing them in. Is anybody out there in the same boat I would love to hear from you or does anybody know the correct procedures. I am lost in the desert here. Comments are gratefully welcomed and thanking you most kindly.. |

Unless something has changed...a man can sponsor his wife on a spouse visa through his employer, but a woman cannot sponsor her husband. |

Your husband either has to get his own job (and therefore sponsorship) or you have to ask your sponsor to provide your husband with a visa (and then hope that it won't be required later on).
You could sponsor your daughter if you have a letter of permission from your husband.
I sympathise with your position. |
