I have to wear a name badge at work now with my picture and a brief piece of information about myself such as my name, nationality, degree, and position in my company. On the other side is a copy of my labor card.

We have been told that we must wear this at all times from now on, and if we don't, my company will have to pay a fine.

Anybody know anything about this?

Where do you work? It may be a security issue, depending on your job.

I'm a teacher. I don't know if it's just for schools, but it's definitely not just the teachers. The staff and administration have to wear them too.

they're doing it in preparation of an ADEC visit. My school is pretty reliable and compliant, so I'm not approaching this with skepticism towards my school.

So does that mean that nobody knows?

Never heard about this, but I bet lots of people/jobs will not follow this law. I believe...

Corporate requirements for security purposes but may be coming to an educational institution near you soon. To ensure that they get the name and rank right when they want to make a complaint. (Just kidding!!!!
