One of our own, Norma Shvarzblat, was killed in the Mumbai terror attacks. She had been a TEFL teacher in Mexico City since 2006 before leaving for India and with plans to visit two of her children in Israel this very week.

Guy, How do you know that she was "one of our own". There was no mention of this in the article you included in your post.

I was her instructor on a TEFL course. She's from Mexico City and taught here for awhile in the business EFL circuit and with children. She came out to one of our get togethers, at the Black Horse I think, some time ago, but I hadn't heard from her in some time.
