That is because
1) people will be surprised you want to work at HCT with your qualifications
2) the salaries have been posted here before
3) are you applying for the "research" positions? If so, you will get more.
4) You will find out what they offer once they offer you the job
That all said, if you are applying for a regular teaching job, my best guess is that you'd be offered around 16,000 dirhams a month. If you get the research position (less teaching and more responsibility) you will get around 20,000. |

Another reason is that few, if any, members here are PhDs or teach in business, so they don't know the salary scales beyond the usual MA in something EFL/ESL related.

Actually, the HCT doesn't pay more for Ph.D holders. It's a nice bonus for HCT, but not the teacher.
This might change in the future. Moving from a BA to an MA will get you 4% more. Nothing if you move from an MA to a Ph.D. |
