| I'm hoping someone can give me information on the Health Certificate needed for a work permit. Many years ago I got Hepatitis C from a blood transfusion and wonder if I could be denied a work permit based on that. I understand that China, Korea and Bahrain are refusing entry/booting foreign workers out for Hep C now. I don't have any symptoms but my liver enzymes are "high" on blood tests so it might be a red flag. I was told that in VN they are mainly looking for HIV/AIDS but how can I find out specifically what they check for and what are the deal breakers??? It would be very bad news if I quit my job, sold everything (gave away my cat!) and moved to VN only to find out I couldn't get a work permit. |
