Does anybody know anything about Web International English in Shanghai?
I've heard that the hours are long, but the pay is okay.
I've also read in previous forums that it depends on what branch you're assigned too.
Any uptodate information would be much appreciated.
Thank you. |

they got a real nasty reputation.. Awhile back one of their branches closed in north Shanghi ... They didn't refund the students money or pay their teachers.. Google this ... It should show up.. Happened about a year ago.. |

This is going to be a big sign that they don't have any local connections, or 关系 (guanxi), which is a must for doing business in this country. As such, they'll certainly be pushed around by the government.
For any school that has "branches", make sure you investigate/ask around if it's a franchise or directly managed under the main school. Franchises (like EF) can be much better than the original, or much worse. |
