Where do expats in Taiwan go to find tutoring, jobs, rooms, language exchange, buy/sell, visa agencies, blacklist warnings, and so on? |

Tealit.com is a good starting point. For general info Michael Turton had a sight on teaching in Taiwan. Following his advice can mean many pitfalls can be avoided. Doesn't the Taipei Times, and China Post, etc., have advertisements (occassionally) for tutoring, etc.? |

The two main websites I can think of for these topics are Forumosa and TEALIT (http://www.tealit.com). |
For what you need, I think tealit would be more useful. Forumosa is a forum populated by tired old geriatrics who have nothing better to do than moan and belittle one another.
For the Truth about Taiwan, you can't really beat Dave's . . . |

If you're in Kaohsiung, or the south, then www.kaohsiungliving.com is a pretty great website. It used to be called ConnectKaohsiung, lots of great information available there. |
