hi all,
i'm moving to mexico city next friday (9th jan) and was wondering if anyone would like to meet up out there, and maybe show me around. it's my first time in mexico, so this will be quite a big step for me and it'd be nice to see a friendly face or 2....

We've been long overdue for a Mexico City get together. You have just provided the perfect excuse to have one again!
Another teacher and I were talking about having a meet up in the center, at a small restaurant called Casa de los Vecinos. It's on Regina street, which was recently renovated and turned into a nice pedestrian-only street.
What does everyone think of Saturday, Jan. 17th?
I'm sure everyone would be happy to give you the lowdown on DF, Dino. |

Count me in, Guy! What kind of food does Casa de los Vecinos dish up? |

If it's daytime, not evening, I might be able to. Would certainly like to. |

An afternoon meal would be fine with me, especially if it would mean that notamiss would be more likely to join us! |

This place opens at 3 PM I believe. How does that sound? I'm not sure what's on the menu...corporatehuman might know though. He introduced me to the place. |

Love to come Guy, but I am afraid you'd tie me down and hold me for that reward LCSE has for my head. |

If you do make it, Gary, could you bring some photos of those turtles I've been hearing about? |
