Since it is fast approaching...
I'm wondering who has input on Carnaval.
Is it better in Merida? Veracruz? or Mazatlan?
Word on the street is that el Carnaval Mazatleco is #3 in the world, right behind Rio and New Orleans, but it seems that mention of Carnaval points people to Veracruz.
So... experiences? My plan is to take a bus to Mazatlan the weekend of the event and take it all in. |

| Mazatlan has a rockin' Carnaval, plus great beaches and friendly people. You will have a good time for sure. |
