He undoubtedly is looking at the schools from a student's perspective.  Some of the best-known universities in China are notorious in their crappy treatment of FTs.  On the other hand, some of the lesser-known universities treat FTs with respect and are a joy to teach at.  Just a word of caution....

 Wow, how generous of them. I was thinking of completing a PhD just for the extra 500 - 1000RMB a month.

				| I'm very happy with my university position as are many of my colleagues. The turnover rate is very low. However, there are so many universities here in need of teachers. And a lot of them are hard to find info about I'm afraid. |  |
