Hi all a newbie here just got offered a job at this place does any body know anything about them?
there website is in Chinese, they have sent me a contract in both languages, offers 5000 rmb a month for 20 hours which seems low, housing , medical but sounds like they can terminate me without much fuss and pay no penalty
any advice appreciated

If thats the case, I would ask if you can terminate the contract without the possible breach penalty. |

Just about every teaching job in China has this clause. Don't worry, a contract is usually just a piece of toilet paper anyway. If you are able to teach at half decently (or at least have a pulse and a white face), you'll be gauranteed your job. In a place as remote and cold as Mudanjiang, you should also be highly valued because of the comparatively few number of foreigners willing to go there. This might give you more negotiating power to request a better contract situation. |
