Novosibirsk is expensive too. Don't expect to find an apartment for under $450, and that would be in the outskirts of town, two hours away by bus from everybody and everything. Food is really expensive too. Forget shopping for anything else. There's no way I could've survived there for two years if I hadn't had a second income. i
