it is called Good Day books.
There were complaints about it on a previous thread.
Some people prefer going to Ikebukuro, Omotesando, or Kanda/Jimbocho for used books. |

But if you do want to risk the Good Day Books experience, from the platform you follow the sign for buses and taxis, then after you go through the ticket barriers turn away from the buses-and-taxis exit and go in the other direction... this brings you out at the quiet side of Ebisu station. Take a short right as far as Sunkus convenience store, then left, pass a Pronto coffee shopp on your right and then turn right. There is a sign in English right in front of you, next to Footniks pub.
If the owner seems unwelcoming, don't take it personally, it's his problem not yours.
