Too many red flags:

*"Monthly Salary 1550 euro per month after all the deductions Accomodation, one room private apartment Free air ticket" Too good for Spain, particularly Seville.

*"Teach Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30 AM to 1:30PM." Very untypical for Spain where people are working or studying in the mornings and the bulk of work is in the evenings.

*"Visa sponsorship for non Eu's." Quite simply not possible in 99.9% of cases.

They're also using a Yahoo e-mail address and have no school website which is also dodgy.

Another poster told me this: "I applied for the job last week and it seems like a scam! They even sent me pictures. They are asking for 750 Euros deposit for the arrangement of travelling documents!!"

Can anyone tell me if this school is real? I can't find any information regarding this school anywhere.

Thanks.

It's an improvement on previous efforts to defraud (a worrying sign that these clowns are getting smarter) but there are still enough red flags to give it away, most notably minor spelling and grammar mistakes that I wouldn't expect a British run school to make. Most of all the promise to get visa sponsorship - now let me think, will there be a request for up front fees to cover that? I'd bet there will be and that those will vanish quicker than you can say "Nigeria."

A quick search on google maps for the address shows it to be in the middle of an out of town industrial estate - not really where I'd expect a fast growing international school to be. Snoid Suministros para oficinas (an office supply company) is the only one listed at that address so if in any doubt give them a call and ask them if they share the address with an international school (tel 0034 916 093 440) I'd bet anything that they don't!

The address states La Moraleja in Madrid but the post code is for Lugo in north west Spain. The actual post code for La Moraleja is 28109.

If you suspect something and want to verify addresses or post codes, use:

www.mappy.com to check streets
www.codigospostales.com to check post codes in Spain (the site is in Spanish)

I'd suggest that it's safe to assume that ANY school asking you to deposit money with them is a SCAM.
