				| Well, maybe not for those earning here, but for tourists things must be a bit more attractive than last summer.
 1USD = 3.5PLN
 1GBP = 5PLN
 1AUD = 2.2PLN
 1EURO = 4.5PLN

 Mind you, no one has any spare cash for holidays now anyway.

 So... is Poland cheap again?

				| 5 to a pound again...now that's more like it.
 Speak for yourself about the cash.

				| Real estate just got a little cheaper, even rent has gotten cheaper since October 2008 (my landlady actually lowered my rent yesterday by 100zł!). Sure the days of spending like a king are over, but it would make for a noticable difference in the wallet to the average traveller.
 With the weak złoty the summer tourist season might be stronger than 2008's fairly lousy one, however fallout from the financial crisis might nullify that.

				| For much of the past decade, the Zl traded at over 5 to a pound......it's got some way to go before it's weak.
 Things will get a little cheaper there and property prices will go down. When you have house price inflation like that overtime you're heading for a fall. The UK decade long boom was based on this and now house prices are falling steadily. 15% last year...predicted another 10-15% this year. What happened in Poland was speculation plain and simple. Everyone's made their lolly now.

 Lol...more drunken tourists...as opposed to drunken Poles or EFL teachers!! BTW-Are you Polish?

				| 1USD = 3.62PLN 1GBP = 5.24PLN
 1AUD = 2.33PLN (Hasn't been this low since I first came to Poland in 2006)
 1EURO = 4.65PLN

 The zloty is getting worse. I'm returning in a month, but I think I'm going to buy up with my Aussie dollars now.

				| I believe it will hit 4PLN to the US dollar in about 2-3 weeks, things are gonna get worse before they get better after all. I read an article by some Polish 'experts' the other day that it should go back to about 2.9PLN to the US dollar around July. Mind you, the opinion of experts lately has been proven to be worth less than the paper they're written on. | |

				| Poland's currency woes are down to a prolonged speculative attack which the national bank can do sweet FA about. They haven't the cash reserves to create a market swing in the opposite direction, and changing interest rates sends the wrong signals to foreign investors, so for the time being it's simply a matter of going with the flow.
 When it comes to the crisis, Poland lives up to another of its stereotypes; three Poles, four opinions.
