Yes, you do as long as your papers are in order. I think the website isn't updated very frequently, so if this is your first year, it may not post until after summer. |

We do... I bought my apt on Cofonivit (20% bank loan and 80% Infonivit loan). I paid off the bank loan quickly (yes you can pre-pay... just make sure your loan contract doesnt stipulate penalties for this) and I hope to start paying down the Infonavit loan once I have my financial house back in some kind of order after my surgery.
The site can sometimes be fickle. It was saying for the longest time that I was still paying my loan through payroll deduction for about 6 months after I wasnt having any (changed jobs... been a nightmare) Called Infonavit and got a really nice man who helped me work out how to make my payments without the payroll deduction. They show up now on my account.
If you cant get on your account... get the phone number from the main page and call them ... make sure you have your IMSS number |

Yes, you should be able to. I can see mine. The IMSS number on your paystub should let you see how many points you've got. Have you changed jobs recently? Has your employer sent you to the IMSS to get registered? |

I bought my house entirely on infonavit credit. You need to make sure that your IMSS numbers and CURP are correct, lack of a second last name has messed them up for some foriegners I know. Like Guy said, it will probably take a quarter or two for your information to be on-line from your new job, and it will take about 4 years until you have enough credit to get a full infonavit loan. Though there have many many reforms in the system since the PANies have taken over, like the one Themadatter mentioned (letting the private sector move in to the game). Also worth checking out, you can get get INFONVIT credit for a "Green" house. Not something I was able to do back in 2003 so I had to retrofit my house to green it up. |
