No need to go so far away, Oaxaca is full of "Zocoleros"
Men who will be your "tour guide" Embarassed for nothing more than you paying their expenses (food, cover charges, and your hotel room) for a couple of days. Razz

Food, cover charges, and a hotel room? That sounds like a better deal than I have teaching EFL at the university here! And, I bet they didn't need to invest in a Master's degree either. How's the competition? Is there room for one more? Wink

so anything good about teaching in mexico? i was thinking of going over (from australia) early 2005. was there for 1 month in 2000 and felt a little out of my depth most of the time. Sad

The way to avoid the cheating and the parents not doing anything about it, you need to look at the class fo people that attend the school. Some schools especially in Monterrey that parents pay A LOT don't want to see their kids fail at any cost. This is the problem.
