I just made a really good video about teaching English in China that you all should view. It really goes over the essentials of how to effectively manage a class.

Reminds me of my first year here.

Incidentally, your camera lingered a bit too long on the view of your student's chest from above.

That was some trippy music.
And I liked the song. I taught my 1st graders that one.

You know "john's brown Chevy" by any chance?

After further reflection and a 3rd time viewing Mr. Jorgensen's masterpiece I humbly suggest these changes -

I think you should have spanked that girl with your whip as she walked out the door.

The soundtrack was pretty nice and came in at the opportune time. Hi ker e. ("Alright" in Paulyin.)

The kid in the freaky shirt was a nice touch. The gall of such people is beyond me.

Personally, I find artists to be an interesting lot of people. I wish my schedule enabled me to spend more time with you, but, unfortunately, it doesn't. I wouldn't mind scheduling an appointment with you in order to discuss your career.

Finally, though, I think Hollywood needs people like US!

If you're interested in trying to ride the gravy train, just for a bit, perhaps we can be friends?

Yunqi

PS. I also admire the white lady ghost in the background. How long did it take to draw?

alas, this movie was taped years ago (2000 or 2001) and I have just now gotten around to editing it. I actually never noticed that when I was going through the footage. Blame the camera operator (not me!)

Is this some kind of inside joke ?
If so, the video and the responses to it , might give myself and other newbies like me the wrong impression.

I hope it is a joke made with the cooperation of the students.

When you've accomplished great things in life, you can wear a sweatshirt and stick your tongue out like the Great Albert. When you're just a young, immature backpacker, best you try and dress like a real teacher, not some bum.

Are you one of those teachers that are so professional and well-educated that they can tell people off on internet forums?

Cheers!
