Hey there sports fans. Mexico's version of the Tour de France starts this Sunday in Oaxaca City.
Stage one is a circuit around Oaxaca City.
Stage two is from Huajuapan de Leon, Oaxaca to Puebla Puebla.
Stage three is Puebla to Tlaxcala
Stage four is Tlaxcala to Cuernavaca
Stage five is Cuernvaca to Toluca
Stage six is San Miguel de Allende to Leon
Stage seven is Huichapan Hidalgo to Pachuca
And stage eight is a circuit around DF.

It had been rummored that Lance Armstrong was going to be racing. But turns out he's just going to be the offical starter of the race in Oaxaca on Sunday.
Here's the offical website with route maps http://www.vueltamexico.com/vm/

Enjoy!

This is great and closing Reforma on Sundays is great. Finally, cycling is getting some attention in Mexico.

One day a week cyclists get to enjoy the city without the worry of drivers - 6 days a week we have to worry about getting run-over even when we are on the bike path (3 times in one area just trying to get to Reform for me on Sunday!)
