You've come to the right forum. Latin America is the best place to learn to dance.

Frankly, all of Latin America dances. Ecuador, where I am, isn't famous for dancing, but is still very latin in this respect. (I have always hated dancing. Which explains why in the last week, I've been dancing twice, and also have just spent part of my lunch break dancing in honor of a colleague's birthday.

What kind of dance are you interested in?

Best,
Justin

If you are going for salsa, you'll find clubs and classes in any country.

If you are looking for salsa at it's best -- Colombia. (not Bogota)

Thanks everyone!

I am looking to learn all forms of ballroom that are Latin American based (or South American....) Tango, Salsa, Rumba (I believe these are Latin America) If I'm off, color me embarrased now.

I am a dancer and do a lot of musical theatre in Michigan now. I wanted to move to France as I speak a little French, but as we all know, work permit hell for Americans. My first love is dance and while teaching I want to be immersed and come back able to compete. So, I guess I was wondering which area would give me the most opportunity to dance (maybe 3-4 night/week).

Thanks!!!!

You guys are great.
Meagan
