Just a heads up. I checked out a job offer from another website by one Ali Banchul, using [email protected].
It offered a job in Dubai for US $4900/mo + other benefits, teaching experience needed, but no TEFL required. I Googled the email address. Only found two references, one for the ad previously mentioned and one for a job in the Dominican Republic. Apparently Ali recruits for the Middle East and Latin America. The DR job was for US $1500/mo. Ali didn't ask for a CV or application, just a short introduction, then he'll advise you on how to actually apply.
Wow. This is some good pay. $4900 for Dubai seems very high, especially for the financial situation Dubai finds itself in. Didn't ask for M.A., Ph. D., or CELTA. $1500 for DR seems high, even given that DR isn't dirt poor like Haiti.
I'm not saying this is a scam or anything. I'm just saying... |

I'm sorry but you should read the sticky at the top of the index regarding scams.
A big red light here is the .de in the email address - UAE addresses end in .ae - especially government websites. |

Oh DO say it!! It is the same scam that has been around for a few years. We seem to get a thread about it a couple times a month and few seem to bother to read the sticky. There is a sucker born every minute as they say... and the continuing saga of this scam proves it. You saw through it, but many don't.
BTW, it is not such a high salary for Dubai. It is not as though they are headed for the poor farm. It is just that you have to have actual educational credentials (MA/PhD) and a CV that displays related experience in the classroom. But... greed tends to throw common sense out the window.

PM me OP. I'll expedite the visa process for a price. (I've decided I want in on this scam) I'll also need your ATM card number, pin number, visa information, passport (orignal sent express mail) and three references who must supply the same information. |
