Would like some information on these schools from anyone who is working for them now or has in the past.
This is the real Disney English - not the fakers that use the name.
Thank you. |

Do you suppose the Disney corporation knows about this school? |

I like that: they are the authentic trademark infringers, as opposed to the the fake trademark infringers, you know, the ones who are infringing on the name of the people who are infringing on the trademark. |

The school is advertising on Dave's.
It is part of a new program of Disney Corporation - who is building a new Disney World in China.
There have been copycats - but this one is the real deal.
Anyone working there have some information? |

I've always been a huge fan of Minnie Mouse.
Do you think there would be an age limit for applicants? Isn't that illegal under international law? |

You'll probably have to dress up as Mickey Mouse when you teach. Schools with names such as Disney English, Sunshine English, Best English...etc.. should be avoided. They sound like a scam and probably are too. |

Wouldn't surprise me that it's legit. Even in N.A. Disney is well known for how poorly it treats employees. They probably do well in China given how bottom-line driven they are. There's a Disney English in this city with a non-native English speaker (central African), same as 2 years ago. I'm guessing the tuition is higher than the Aston school where I work. |

No.
It seems everywhere I go these days I'm confronted by images of Disney Characters.
Every child care centre, toystore, and on every type of product imaginable. |

Yes, Disney did hire people to teach future employees "good Engrish" for the eventual mainland China Disney.
They approached Li Yang's "Crazy English" group as well.
They are not currently hiring anyone at this time.
The money is actually no better than teaching ESL at your average language mill. PLUS, they WILL LET GO most all the staff shortly after opening (the ESL staff I mean), and maintain only two or three full time teachers.
The positions HAVE BEEN FILLED...
So stop "wishing on a star" and just gamble on cricket fights in HK... |

They're not hiring people for the "mainland China Disney". They're a legit private language school in Shanghai, and yes they are ACTUALLY Disney.
Check them out :http://disneyenglish.disney.com.cn/en/101.html
I'd like to know where you're getting your information about them "not hiring". |
