write down some topics on some paper(cut them out) and put them into a box and choose someone to pick a topic from the box and then talk about it.

One of these days, I'd love to put a Chinese teacher in a room crammed with hungry western eyes and tell them to 'light up the room'.
"It's easy! Just tell them about your hobbies. Oh, and you can talk about Chinese food, too. The students will be so excited."  |

Perpetual Questions is the best group activity I have used. The students teach each other, rather than turning up to hear the foreigner speak English.
Every week is a bit steep though and 60 students - and presumably unpaid.
Anyway PM me and I'll give you the method plus some questions to get you started. |
