You're Fiji!
As calm, relaxed, and removed from life as they come, you're just so chilled out, it hurts people to see you. Everyone aspires to be where you are, but most of them just can't put their stress away. Little do they know that even you sometimes have inner turmoil and struggles! For the most part, though, it's sun and fun for you, and that's the way you like it. It's just sort of hard to get things done with all that partying.

Woohoo! Cool

Curator of ancient mystical secrets, your life on the surface is fairly
typical these days. Though you are in denial about more things than most people.
Nevertheless, you're trying to convince people that you're safe despite your more
volatile and unstable times that seem to be behind you. You like cats a whole lot.

Dear Capergirl,
Sweet sufferin' succotash - I'm Vatican City (actually, from the description

"You're pretty sure that you're infallible in all that you do or say, and
it's hard to say whether you're right. You have a lot of followers, most of whom will do whatever you say without question, or line up to see you ride around in your spiffy car. Religious and reserved, you have some wisdom, but also a bit much contempt for everyone around you. You're also fabulously wealthy, no matter what you say to the contrary."

it sounds like I'm the Pope). And, although I AM infallible, I can't say I have many followers (unless you count my dog and two cats, who follow me around all over the place, but who don't do ANYTHING I say without question) and nobody lines up to see me ride around in my Toyota Corolla. Am I religious? Hey, is the Pope . . . ah, maybe I'd better not use that comparison. But I suppose I am reserved. Some wisdom? At 61, if I don't have at least a little, how'd I get this far? But no contempt for everyone around me (not EVERYONE, just most everyone - to borrow from another thread). Fabulously wealthy? Well, that's rich, so to speak. As if anyone who works as a teacher could be anything other than a small step above penury.
Regards,
Pope John

Dear Lynn,
Aw, come on - tell us. I mean, how could it be worse than a lapsed Catholic finding out he's the Pope?
Regards,
Il Papa

Hey, there's another quiz at that same site.

http://bluepyramid.org/ia/bquiz.htm

And I think I fared a little better on this one:

"You're Siddhartha!
by Hermann Hesse
You simply don't know what to believe, but you're willing to try anything once. Western values, Eastern values, hedonism and minimalism, you've spent some time in every camp. But you still don't have any idea what camp you belong in. This makes you an individualist of the highest order, but also really lonely. It's time to chill out under a tree. And realize that at least you believe in ferries."

Om mani padre hum
John

Brazil.

Oooops, I didn't think to copy/paste a flag or description.

I'm not sure whether or not to be happy with my results--hell yeah, I'd like to live in Brazil, but apparently, if I can recall what the test told me, I like to chop down rainforests and consider homeless people to be expendable. Don't know where those ideas came from...

Oh, and I'm definitely not a good dancer--but if the test tells me it's so, it must be so.

I am THAILAND...Calmer and more staunchly independent than almost all those around you,
you have a long history of rising above adversity. Recent adversity has led to questions
about your sexual promiscuity and the threat of disease, but you still manage to attract a
number of tourists and admirers. And despite any setbacks, you can really cook a good
meal whenever it's called for. Good enough to make people cry.
Any jobs there, I wonder??

As for johnslat's test:

You're One Hundred Years of Solitude!
by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
Lonely and struggling, you've been around for a very long time. Conflict has filled most of your life and torn apart nearly everyone you know. Yet there is something majestic and even epic about your presence in the world. You love life all the more for having seen its decimation. After all, it takes a village.

I did actually really love this book when I read it. I must say, though, I've had a fairly white-bread existence, sans the conflict that apparently I've endured.

You're Australia!

You're easy-going, relaxed, and yet somewhat tough and hardy all at the
same time. You can appreciate culture, scuba diving, and even safaris; This
makes you pretty interesting and intriguing to others, though also really unpredictable and
even wild; Your knowledge of nature is unthinkable to most of those around you, even
though your respect for it is sometimes less than perfect; People really like your
accent

You're Mexico!

While some people think you're poor and maybe a little corrupt, you know where it's at, enjoying good food and nice beaches.
You like to take things a little slower than those around you, and you really wish the air were cleaner, but sometimes compromises must be made.
For some reason, Chevrolet keeps trying to sell you Novas as well, even though they don't really go.

You're Canada!
People make fun of you a lot, but they're stupid because you've got a much better life than they do. In fact, they're probably just jealous. You believe in crazy things like human rights and health care and not dying in the streets, and you end up securing these rights for yourself and others. If it weren't for your weird affection for ice hockey, you'd be the perfect person.

Sheesh. Canada. I mean, I was HOPING for Canada.... Very Happy
