Wow, they have lifestyle management consultants for their teachers. They just sound like headteachers to me.

I wonder if it is legit. It all looks and sounds rather fab. I suppose you have to pay for the service.

what makes me suspicious is that they have 2500 dollar jobs, but they don't mention which schools. Is this normal for job agencies? I have never used a job agency in my life.

I had a read through their hiring process. It seems that they first check that your documents and references are legit, then they interview you, then give you a psych evaluation (there wouldn't be many people passing that) and then they decide what jobs are good for you. I suppose that they then tell you where you can work.

Probably they get some kind of commission from the school if they find them teachers, so they don't want any Tom, Dick or Harry beating them to the post.

I get the feeling they are trying to get their hands on the "real" teachers and tie them up for a 5 year period so they can dictate policy to the schools in most need of well qualified and experienced "professionals" (whatever that is) .Hopefully at the same time they might be able to squeeze out a better allround deal for us overworked and underpaid mere mortals . 2500 Dollars is not a fortune esp in Istanbul but at least its a step in the right direction even if it is a small one . Not much chance of that taking off in Izmir methinks ,pity .

"Life Management System"
That sounds great though. I always wanted someone who manages my life, so I can turn off my brain.

I have worked for RFT for 4 months and never had a problem with them.Zanore was with me at the interview.I signed a contract with RFT that same day.Started working in September. My contract was for 9 months but unfortunately I have to move back to izmir.dont get me wrong I love izmir but I worked at a religious school in Maltepe.I am not a religious person but the teachers and management of the school that RFT sent me to was wonderful.I always got paid maybe a day or two late but I always got paid.Zanore(RFT) doesnt take money for finding a job for you but Im sure they get commission from the schools. When I had small problems Zanore was always there to help me try and solve the problems.I wish they had an agency in izmir. You are always guaranteed to work when you get a job through RFT

Just to inform--I worked with RFT (now perhaps called RSW) and found them to be very difficult at best: withholding pay and airfare reimbursement, very little support for employees, deceitful/dishonest practices and threats of police involvement for non-compliance with their latest dictates. Negative posts on other sites about the owners should be trusted.

The BEAUTY of a site such as this one is that the RFT's of the world can be defeated by sharing information about them. The ESL/EFL community does take notice of fraudulent recruiters and schools, and responds accordingly.
